The smart switchable glass is made of the laminated glass manufacturing process,the liquid crystal smart switchable film is firmly bonded between two pieces of ordinary float glass.
The liquid crystal smart switchable film utilizes the electro-transmission and scattering phenomena of liquid crystals,so that the smart switchable glass has the functions of being transparent when power is on,and opaque when power is off.
a.Power-on transparent,power off light transmitting opaque:fast response speed,install stealth can be achieved within 0.2 seconds.
b.Safety:Due to the application of the process of laminated glass,the film in the smart swicthable glass firmly bonds to glass,
so that when the smart switchable glass is impacted and broken.The glass fragments stick to the film in the middle,and the glass fragments will not splash and hurt people.
c.Power-saving features:transparent when power is on,opaque when power off,light is still abundant under the condition of privacy protection,the reception room hidden in the office area is still bright,

even more than the hollow sound insulation glass.

g.Projection characteristics:in the closed state,the visible light scattering can reach more than 43%,and the transmittance can reach more than 50%.It can be used as a projection screen in the street shopping mall.
Play a good advertising effect.If it is projected in the open state,there is also a three-dimensional misty effect.
a)Each piece of glass must be inspected before installation,if there is any problem with wrong size,broken corners,scratches,abrasions or inappropriate quantity,please do not install.
b)If there is no instruction from the manufacturer's personnel,please do not remove the label of he glass supplier at will,and follow the installation instructions and drawings of the smart switchable glass.
c)Remove debris and other hard objects on the frame.
d)There must be spacers on the window frame.According to the manufacturer's recommendations,cut the size and quantity,and install standard width and thickness spacers on the window frame.
Gaskets can use rubber,wood blocks and other materials are used for waterproof and glass proof edge sealing protection at corners and joints.
e)Before installing the smart switchable glass,make sure that there are outlet holes or slots in the frame.When installing,pay attention to the connection of the circuit,and operate according to the installation instructions of the circuit.
f)When installing,the glass should be installed vertically,and the protective film should not be torn off.
g)When installing the outer frame after the glass is fixed,be careful to prevent hard objects from touching the glass or welding sparks to burn the glass,sand and dust during installation and construction,welding sparks or other hard objects hitting the glass surface may cause irreparable damage.
h)Glass glue needs to be applied immediately after installation:use non-acidic glass glue,please make sure to use our company's special glass glue from smart switchable glass:
GE TOSHIBA TOSSEAL 381 neutral weathering sealant.Other brands of glass glue will erode into the glass and damage the fogged smart switchable glass.
i)The installation site and use environment should be kept clean,free from dust pollution,formaldehyde and benzene volatile pollution,otherwise it will corrode and damage the smart switchable glass.
j)When the glass is installed,architects,contractors and users must take responsibility for protecting the glass and cleaning it.Rusty steel and alkaline substances will damage the glass furnace.
Abrasive cleaning agents should never be used,especially when the glass furnace is reflective.The normal use temperature of glass is from 20℃ to 60℃.
Excessive temperature will make the glass transparent when not in operation.
a)All related circuits for smart switchable glass wiring must be installed by a qualified electrical engineer,or guided by the manufacturer's personnel on site.
b)Firstly,make sure that the power supply is not turned on,before installing the smart switchable glass,make sure that there are cables outlet holes or slots in the frame.
c)Before installation,it is necessary to check in detail whether the electrode sheath is in good condition to ensure that the electrode wire is not torn and there is no danger of leakage.
Check if the eletrodes touch the metal frame,in case of damage the power supply and smart switchable glass.
If the electrode wire is damaged,the exposed metal wire can be covered with insulation tape.
It is forbidden to connect the electrode wire on the glass directly to the 220V.The smart switchable glass electrode line is connected to the power output AC48V or AC60V.
If the glass is connected to the power supply 220V,the atomized smart switchable glass will be damaged or scrapped.Multiple pcs of smart switchable glass should be connected in parallel with the power output.
Warning:The smart switchable glass must work under the voltage of the dedicated power supply,and excessive voltage will cause serious damage to the glass product.
Repair and circuit services can only be provided by a professional electrical engineer who has a complete understanding of this product.
d)When wiring,connect the red and black wires of the smart switchable glass to the neutral wire of the live wire at the output of the power supply repectively.The wiring method adopts a T-branch connection.
Do not pull the wire forcibly during the wiring process.

e)Pull the waterproof tape and wrap it tightly around the wiring,then wrap and seal the insultation tape.
f)After the wiring is completed,put the main line in the wiring slot to prevent mice from biting.The wiring slot is arranged and provided by the construction party.
g)Before turning on the power,test the resistance reading between the metal frame and the electrode to determine if it is infinite,otherwise you must check the short circuit and
insulate the electrode of the metal frame part.
h)after turning on the power,check whether the glass panel is transparent,if any one or more pieces of smart switchable glass do not respond:
1.Check whether the current circuit breaker is normal,otherwise the fuse must be reset or replaced.
2.Check whether the wall socket is normally powered,otherwise it must be replaced.
3.Check whether the input end of the power supply and the wire connecting the wall socket and the power supply are normally powered.
4.Check whether the output terminal of the power supply is normal,otherwise the fuse maybe blown,and the fuse of the same type and size must be replaced.
Warning:Do not change fuse model specifications!The correct fuse is very important to protect the smart switchable glass and power supply.
a)When handling and installing,be careful not to hit the corners of the glass to ensure the safety of the glass.
b)The glass electrode wire should be connected to the 48V or 60V output terminal of the supporting power supply(subject to the acutal power supply).
Do not connect the glass electrode wire directly to 220V power supply,otherwise the glass will be scrapped.
c)The glass glue used when installing the glass must be TOSHABA 381.Do not use other types of glass glue,otherwise the glass will be damaged.
d)The installation site and use environment should be kept clean,free from dust pollution,formaldehyde and benzene volatile pollution,
otherwise it will corrode and damage the atomized smart switchable glass.
e)When the glass is used in an environment greater than 60C,the smart switchable film in the glass will become transparent in the state of no electricity.
f)If the above requirements are not implemented,resulting in the damage or scrapped glass products,the company is nor responsible.
a)Check the power supply after smart switchable glass is installed.The actual voltage of the smart switchable glass is 48V,which is mainly converted by the transformer.
The glass cannot be directly connected to the mains 220V,the direct voltage will be too large and the glass will burn out.
After the glass is installed,it is necessary to check whether the transformer wiring is connected correctly,and then power on the test.
In order to facilitate future inspection and maintenance,do a good job of hiding the transformer at the inspection port in advance,check it regularly, and protect the wiring position with multiple layers of insulating tape to prevent mice from biting.Check whether the current circuit breaker is normal,otherwise,you must reset or replace the fuse,ect.
b)after the smart switchable glass is installed,check whether the glass can be switched on and off.Wall panel control:direct operation of the wall buttons.
Power-on(transparent)/power-off(frosted)Wireless remote control:the remote control is operated within 10 meters of the remote control receiver,and the battery is first discharged in the remote control.
Press any key on the remote control to check whether the remote control light is on.If the remote control light is on,it proves that the remote control can be used normally.If the remote control light is off,
Replace the battery and try again.Operation:on key(transparent)/off(matte)
c)Cleaning of smart switchable glass:When the glass is installed,the user must take the responsibility of protecting the glass and cleaning it,and it is also necessary to clean the glass regularly.
Rust-prone steel and alkaline substances can damage the glass surface.Abrasive cleaners should never be used,especially if the glass surface is reflective.
After cleaning with a clean,soft cloth dampened with neutral soap or mildly acidic(vinegar)liquid,it must be cleaned with water and dried immediately.
