EVA film processing technology and manufacturing method

1.Ensure that the temperature and humidity of the production environment are suitable (temperature <35 °C, humidity <65%), avoid direct radiation from sunlight, heat sources,rain and heavy pressure.

2.The customer should fully understand the product introduction provided by the manufacturer before using the interlayer film.Before mass production,customer should make small sample to inspect and confirm if the quality and color of the interlayer film are acceptable, the glass sample should be made according to the lamination temperature, process and time provided by the manufacturer (the sample area is not less than 0.5m2).

3.When cleaning the glass, the water in the glass washing machine should be replaced frequently. Make sure that the glass surface is sufficiently dry and there is no moisture, oil stains, chemical cleaning agents and so on.

4.Before the production of glass lamination,it is necessary to dry the flat glass,interlayer film and other insert materials.The heating system and vacuum system of laminating equipment should be inspected before using.And preheating to make sure silicone bag and vacuum tube are dry enough.

5.When using PDLC film to process laminated glass products, it is necessary to understand the physical and chemical properties of the interlayer film, and the relevant verification test must be done before batch production,to ensure the interlayer film and the PDLC film are without adverse reaction. (Including but not limited to delamination, bubbles, white haze, discoloration, yellowing, fading, etc.)

6.After processing laminated glass,it is not suitable to edging immediately.It must be tempered after standing at room temperature for 72 hours after the glass is laminated, and the excess overflow of the edge should be cleaned before edging.While edging, it must be confirmed that the laminated glass has been sufficiently cooled, and the pressure of the grinding wheel should not be too large, otherwise it will affect the adhesion of the film and cause the edge to enter the water.However,It is better that edging before laminating.

7.If the laminated glass is to be sealed with silicone gel or structural adhesive during the installation process, it is necessary to confirm the compatibility with the interlayer film. Some sealing materials may adversely react to the interlayer film of the laminated glass, causing delamination,bubble and color change around the laminated glass; therefore, make sure to fully confirm its staining and permeability before using.
